Dallas Darts Association

The Harris County Darts Association presents the 2008 Houston Open, June 20-22, 2008 at the Sheraton Houston Brookhollow, 3000 North Loop West. This is a $20,000+ tournament sanctioned by the ADO and ranked by the World Darts Federation.

The 2nd Annual Texas "T" Shootout is scheduled for May 16-18, 2008. This is a $10000.00 + Awards tournament hosted by the SWDA, sanctioned by the ADO, and being played at the Black Gold Sports Bar in Crowley, Texas.

Friday morning at 8:30am is sign-up for the ADO All Stars Regional shoot for region 3-2.

The Dallas Darts Association will be presenting Superdarts Weekend on March 28-30, 2008. The flyer for this annual league event is HERE. This tournament is put on by the DDA, for the DDA members, and is geared for the B and A2 players with plenty of events for all. Come out and support your association! This is YOUR tournament!!!

The Metroplex Dart Association is presenting their 30th Annual North Texas Shoot-Out on February 29th, Mach 1st, 2nd, 2008.
This is an ADO-sanctioned, $15,000 + awards tournament, and is being held at the Ramada Hotel DFW South, 4440 West Airport Freeway, in Irving, TX 75062.

The ADO 3-2 Regional Playoffs for the ADO Masters is at this location, on Friday, Feb 29th, 9am. Signups at 8:30am.

The ADO youth shoot schedule has been posted. Contact Steve Gagnon (dartdudesteve@yahoo.com) to sign up youths interested in playing. Ages for participation are 12-17 with participants not turning 18 before December 1, 2008.

Bob Beam will be taking sign ups for the 2008 ADO Qualifier Singles League (All Stars Season) starting on Monday, December 31, 2007 and ending on Sunday, January 27, 2008.

Entry Fee is $55.00 and you must be a current member of an association who is a member of the ADO.

Rosters will be available at the participating pubs, the DDA website, or you can get one from Bob Beam.

Format for the All Stars Season is 501.

Folder pickup for the All Stars Season will be on Sunday, February 3, 2008 at Drink's Saloon from 6 - 10 pm.
All Stars Season will start on Monday, February 4, 2008.

Regionals for the All Stars Season will be in mid May and the Nationals will be held on August 8, 2008 at Stamford, Ct.

          Just wanted to let everyone know that the sign ups for the 2007 ADO Qualifier Singles League Cricket Season will start on Monday, June 25th and go to July 14th. The time to sign up is not as long as the past 2 seasons because this season will start on July 30th. Bob Beam will have rosters at the participating pubs and also with himself. You can also download a roster on the DDA website, or if you are currently playing this season, you have a roster in your folder. So far it looks like the participating pubs this season will be Drink's Saloon, Park's Place, American Legion Post 597 and (New This Season) The Billiard Den.
 
Remember, sign ups are from June 25th to July 14th. Last day to sign up will be Saturday July 14th at Drink's Saloon, from 6pm til 10pm. Any question call Bob Beam at 214-507-8375.

       Saturday, January 20th, AUDIE'S PLACE is having a Chicago Style Blind Draw Tournament. FLYER FOR THE TOURNEY IS HERE!!!

This tournament is also being sponsored by DART DREAMS. Both AUDIE'S PLACE & DART DREAMS will be putting up $200.00 each to make this a $400.00 Add Tournament.

The format is Chicago Style, (501, Cricket, 301 D/D).

This tournament will be best of three in the winners bracket and one game, bull's choice in the losers bracket. Entry Fee for this tournament is $10.00. Sign ups will start at noon and the tournament will start at 1:00 pm. (UPDATE: Signups end at 12:45!!!)

AUDIE'S PLACE has just been newly renovated. They expanded into the lease space next door, which gives them even more room than they had before. They built a brand new bar, new carpet and moved their poker tables into the area where the old bar use to be. They did a great job renovating and want to show it off to everybody.

AUDIE'S PLACE will be the location for this years SUPERDARTS WEEKEND, so come out and play in the tournament and check out what they have done with the place. Any questions, give Bob Beam a call at 214-507-8375.

The Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday schedules in team folders all have dates that reflect the Monday of the week of play. Please make sure that you adjust dates accordingly for your matches and play on the correct date. We apologize for the inconvenience. Dates of play on the schedules on the website are correct.

Spring Season 2007 folder pickup is at Drinks on Saturday afternoon, January 6, 2007. Fall Season awards will be at the folder pickup! Come get your plaques!!!

Darters it's that time again! Get the kids ready! It's time to start working on the next generation of Darters. The series of shoots are for practice and qualifying for the ADO National Youth Championships. The competition will be for ages 7-17. You cannot turn 18 before December 1, 2007. There will be 5 shoots per the schedule. The entry fee is $5 per shoot. The format will be a round robin, 501 SS/DO, 3 straight legs. The scoring is 1 point for entering and 1 point for each leg won. The Youth with the most points will be our qualifier. The DDA will send as many youths as possible, depending on participation.

It's that time again!!  Sign ups for the 2007 ADO Qualifier Singles League - All Stars Season will start on January 8, 2007 and end on January 27, 2007. Only 3 weeks to sign up for this season, so don't wait for the last minute to sign up. The season will start on February 5, 2007. A flyer for you to print out is linked HERE. Lets see if we can get a big turn out this season. Besides Drinks, Bob will be posting the flyers at Audie's Place and Park's Place.
